Patti from Vancouver, Canada sent a lovely and heartfelt email via the Contact Us page. She wrote:

I stumbled across Parable of the Talents, and then the Sower and was profoundly moved by them both. Am determined to read everything by this woman. She was truly wise, and I can't wait to hear how the documentary "Invisible Universe" is continuing to develop. I am sad to hear that she is no longer alive, but her books are alive to me. I am thankful to her for writing and perservering in the face of ubiquitous racism, subtle and covert. And I'm thankful to you for helping keep her ideas and spirit alive.

Although February 25th marked 2 years since Octavia Butler passed, Patti's email reminds us that we can keep Octavia's ideas and spirit alive by continuing to read her work... And I promise to continue helping by adding more to this site!
