Dear Beautiful Butler Fans,

OctaviaButler.net needs an editorial board. The site, originally developed as a tribute, is now ready to become a true resource for the fan community.

Are you interested in furthering Octavia Butler's legacy? Do you want to make really good content and information about science fiction available to the world?

Who we're looking for:

1. You love Octavia Butler's work and Black feminist science fiction more generally.
2. You enjoy writing or editing, whether or not you've done it professionally.
3. You have your own website or blog.

What we'll do:

1. We'll form a small community of fans and writers.
2. We'll meet virtually on an agreed-upon schedule.
3. We'll add news articles, blog posts, reviews, and other content.
4. We'll maintain the site so that it's an excellent, lasting resource.
