Years ago I walked by a book rack on a rare occasion when I did not have a book with me... I discovered Wildseed! Than Mind of My Mind, Clay's Ark & Patternist. It made no differnce that I was reading these in the opposite order that she wrote them. Amazing! She amazed me & still does. I read every thing I could find. Years after purchasing Fledgling I finally read it. It was another wonderous series waiting to be born... Many more pleasures & gifts to give us. RIP Octavia Butler we miss you.
